The Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday pulled off a comeback of epic proportions against a Minnesota Timberwolves team that desperately needed a win.
Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo hit a three-pointer to put his team up 95-71 early in the fourth quarter at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wis. With about 10 minutes left, the game appeared to be all but over for the Bucks.
DiVincenzo’s shot would end up being the last Timberwolves points over the next five minutes of play. The Bucks went on a furious 23-0 run to cut the lead down to one with five minutes left in the contest.
Milwaukee stayed hot down the stretch, outscoring Minnesota 16-8 the rest of the way to pick up a wild 110-103 victory. The home team outscored the visitors 40-13 in the final quarter.
Here’s the full comeback in all its glory.

Tuesday’s contest also marked the return of Bucks fan favorite Bobby Portis. The Arkansas alum had just finished serving a 25-game suspension after testing positive for a banned substance.
Portis and Kevin Porter Jr. were outstanding off Milwaukee’s bench. The pair combined for 39 points on 13/24 shooting to help fuel the epic comeback.
The loss was brutal for the Timberwolves’ postseason hopes. With just three games left in Minnesota’s season, the team fell to the eighth seed and a likely play-in tournament appearance in the crowded Western Conference.
