There is no denying which NFL team has Indiana Fever superstar point guard Caitlin Clark’s support.
Fresh off a gold medal win with Team USA at the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup, Clark sent out a message for the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday.
“WE ARE BACK!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!! @Chiefs,” Clark wrote in a post on X, adding three heart emojis for further emphasis.
Several hours later, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs thwarted the Denver Broncos in lopsided fashion for a 31-10 Monday Night Football win at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
The Chiefs were in total control of the game, largely thanks to the legs of their key offseason acquisition, running back Kenneth Walker III. The 25-year-old Super Bowl MVP burned rubber for 173 rushing yards and a touchdown on 23 carries, while adding 18 receiving yards and a score on three catches in his unforgettable debut for the Chiefs.
Those are gaudy stats equivalent to what Clark has been putting up every now and then for the Fever in the WNBA.
After nearly a month-long break in the WNBA, the Fever are set to resume their 2026 season on Friday, when they play the Toronto Tempo at Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario.
As for Clark’s beloved Chiefs, they will be going for a 2-0 start to their season when they face the Indianapolis Colts, still in Kansas City, on Sunday.
