The Cleveland Cavaliers have set a target date for the debut of new point guard Isaiah Thomas.
According to Jason Lloyd of the Athletic, the Cavaliers are targeting January for Thomas’s Cleveland debut.
Injured Cavs guard Isaiah Thomas expected back on the floor by January, according to the team. He has started on-court activities.

This falls right in line with the fears Cleveland had about how long Thomas might end up being out. There is a little wiggle room for the point guard to return before then. But it looks like it will be about three months before Thomas can play in an NBA game, though it is good news that he is taking part in on-court activities.
