The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to start stripping down the team amid a poor start and have begun shopping one player.
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst and Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Tuesday that the Cavaliers have initiated trade talks regarding Kyle Korver. The Cavs also looked into trading Korver over the summer, so they would be reigniting such talks.
Korver is a 3-point specialist. He has shot 43.2 percent from long range during his career, and was even 48.5 percent two seasons ago. He’s a luxury a non-contending team really does not need, so it makes sense for the Cavs to try and trade him.
Korver is owed $7.5 million this season and next season.
