Charlie Villanueva tries to interrupt Thunder pregame routine (Video)
Pregame handshake routines have become commonplace in today’s NBA. However, Charlie Villanueva didn’t appear to be all that entertained by one performed by members of the Thunder on Monday.
Prior to Game 2 between the Mavericks and Thunder, Russell Westbrook and Cameron Payne were in their own little world, engaged in a fairly elaborate handshake routine. Then, along came Villanueva, just casually strolling by the scorer’s table. As luck would have it, he wound up between Payne and Westbrook, who wasn’t having it.

Did you see the look Russ gave before shoving Villanueva to the side? If his eye could shoot fire, they would have at that exact moment.
This isn’t the first time Westbrook and Villanueva have had their paths cross. Back in January, Villanueva grabbed at Westbrook’s throat during a scuffle that was initially between Westbrook and J.J. Barea. Villanueva definitely isn’t getting a holiday card from Westbrook this year.
