Chris Paul says foot feeling better was ‘huge difference’
Chris Paul’s foot injury may have been a bigger deal than the Houston Rockets were letting on.
According to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said after Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday that CP3 had told before the game that his foot was feeling well.
Mike D'Antoni says Chris Paul told him before the game, "I got my foot right." D'Antoni said Paul, who has been playing through soreness in his foot, feeling better physically was a significant factor in the Rockets' win.

Paul was asked about his foot after the game and said it feeling better made a “huge difference.”
How much better did Chris Paul feel pushing off his sore foot tonight? "A huge difference," he said. James Harden interrupted: "He's fine."

Paul was seen icing his lower leg late in Game 2 of the series and had what was described as “soreness” entering Game 3. Games 2 and 3 were his worst of the series statistically, while he played well in Games 1 and 4. The numbers certainly seem to say that Paul is not lying.
