
Damian Lillard was seen limping after the Portland Trail Blazers’ 115-109 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night due to a sprained ankle.
Lillard scored 29 points and played the entire game in the defeat. NBC Sports Northwest’s Jason Quick said that Lillard had his ankle examined after the game and that the point guard was limping.
With more than half of team already showered and gone, Lillard limps into locker room in full uniform. Looks like they were examining left ankle he turned. Pronounced limp as he heads to shower.

Lillard said he would be “smart” about managing the injury so that he won’t have issues entering the playoffs.
Lillard on ankle: “I think I have a pretty high pain tolerance but I’m going to be smart about it. It’s the end of the season, we’re going into playoffs so I have to be smart that one thing doesn’t turn into another.”

The 48-30 Blazers have a day off before facing the Rockets in Houston on Thursday. Lillard is averaging 26.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game.
