Dave Joerger leaves Kings’ bench after falling to knee (Video)
Sacramento Kings coach Dave Joerger experienced a scary moment on Sunday while coaching his team.
Joerger popped up to his feet to argue with a referee early in the Kings’ contest against the Sacramento Kings and abruptly fell to a knee on the sideline.

Joerger was evaluated by a Spurs trainer and went to the locker room shortly after.
Dave Joerger just left the bench a couple minutes into the game in San Antonio with trainer Pete Youngman. Elston Turner is coaching the team right now. Will update with information on Joerger as soon as we get word.

It was later reported that the coach was simply dealing with a spell of light-headedness.
Dave Joerger experienced light headedness and will not return as a precaution.

That’s fairly good news, and it’s more or less what happened to another basketball coach a few years back. Hopefully all is well.
