DeAndre Jordan gave parting gift to Clippers

DeAndre Jordan

DeAndre Jordan is offering a little token of gratitude to the LA Clippers as a thank you for the last ten years.

Brad Turner of the LA Times reported on Tuesday that the All-Star center, who agreed to sign with the Dallas Mavericks earlier this week, sent a dessert truck to the team’s offices as well as to their practice facility in Playa Vista.

Jordan was drafted by the Clippers as a raw 19-year-old in 2008 and gradually developed into one of the best centers in the game. He had been the longest-tenured member of the team by far and holds multiple all-time franchise records, including for games played and total rebounds.

Though Jordan is now leaving the only NBA team that he has ever known, it looks like it’s all love between him and the Clippers as they part ways (which wasn’t exactly the case with the last star who left the team).
