Deion Sanders usually gets what he wants. That adage somehow still applied when he asked for a blazer straight off another man’s back.
Sanders was not physically present for Tuesday’s NBA contest between the Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. But his son Shedeur Sanders was sitting courtside at the game.
With Shedeur getting some shine on national television, Deion was tuning in from home. He let the world know when he posted on X saying that he “needed” the gaudy blazer that TNT announcer Greg Anthony was wearing.

“I need that Blazer that [Greg Anthony] has on tonight,” wrote Deion.
I need that Blazer that @GregAnthony50 has on tonight on @NBAonTNT

It did not take long before Deion’s request was filled. Moments after the post, TNT’s sideline reporter Jared Greenberg was seen delivering the blazer to Shedeur’s courtside seat.

Anthony also replied to Deion on X informing the Colorado head coach that Shedeur was bringing the blazer home.
“Your son is here, I will leave it with him!” Anthony replied.

Standing at 6’1″ and weighing over 200 pounds, Deion Sanders is a relatively big dude. But Anthony is a former athlete himself, having played 11 seasons in the NBA as a journeyman point guard. Both players have a similar build, so the blazer could very well fit Sanders.
Whether as a player or as a coach, Deion Sanders has never been afraid to make a statement with his fashion choices. Anthony’s loud jacket looked right in line with his usual style.
