Derrick Rose’s ex Mieka Reese defends Bulls star on Instagram
Derrick Rose’s ex-girlfriend Mieka Reese is sticking up for the Chicago Bulls star amid a difficult season.
The Bulls are in a transition year as they have a new coach for the first time after five seasons under Tom Thibodeau. Joakim Noah, a former star on the team, is coming off the bench. Jimmy Butler has gone from late first-round pick to the team’s star player. Rose is taking a lot of criticism for no longer being the explosive player he once was, and there are persistent reports that he and Butler are not getting along.
On Monday, Reese shared a post on Instagram supporting Rose. Her was her caption:

You’ll notice she closed her caption with a comment about loving Jimmy Butler, just to drive home the point that they get along.
