Devin Booker out indefinitely, will undergo hand surgery
Devin Booker will undergo hand surgery and is out indefinitely.
98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s John Gambadoro reported the news on Sunday about Booker’s hand surgery. The surgery is intended to improve a ligament injury that bothered Booker late in the season and kept him out of the last 12 games.
According to Arizona Sports, Booker will undergo the surgery in Los Angeles and likely miss the start of training camp. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski says they will know more about Booker’s status after the surgery on Monday.

The initial plan was to try and let Booker rest and see if the injury healed on its own, but apparently they have decided surgery is now the best course of action.
Booker, 21, signed a five-year, $158 million extension with Phoenix over the summer.
