Knicks roasted by ESPN over their draft needs

The New York Knicks have a lot of holes to fill this offseason after missing the playoffs for the sixth consecutive year, and ESPN appeared to take a ruthless shot at them over it during the NBA Draft on Thursday night.

Before the Knicks selected former Duke star RJ Barrett with the No. 3 overall pick, a graphic at the bottom of the screen showed their team needs. While that is typically where we will see that a team needs something like a center or a point guard, it said the Knicks need “everything.”

As you might expect, fans thought it was hilarious.

The Knicks won just 17 games this past season, so they’re hoping Barrett can help rescue their tortured franchise. They have been linked to some of the top free agents on the market, but there’s always a chance they end up with no one. If that happens, they may still need “everything” during the 2020 NBA Draft.
