Draymond Green gives Dahntay Jones the stare of death after bump (Video)
Draymond Green gave Dahntay Jones a death stare after being bumped by the Clippers reserve guard following Golden State’s 106-98 home win on Sunday.
Green was being interviewed by Lisa Salters after his 23-point performance in the win and got bumped on the elbow by Jones, who was walking by. Green paused, did a double-take, then looked back again before he resumed the interview. He was obviously offended and so ready to throw down, but he did contain himself.
After the game, Green talked about what happened.
“It caught me by surprise,” Green said to the media (video of his comments via Diamond Leung). “I looked … and I looked again. I was curious — did he do it on purpose or not? Then I see the replay of it where he looked at me and looks at me out of the corner of his eye.
“I think he wanted a reaction out of me, but he doesn’t play. So me getting suspended and him getting suspended, it’s kind of different when you don’t play. It’s probably the role he has on that team. I had that role before a couple of years ago, but I can’t feed into that … get fined, get suspended.”
Credit Green, who has a reputation for being an irritant himself, for not snapping.
Jones was asked about the incident after the game and denied doing it intentionally.
Dahntay Jones: "That's not how you bump somebody if you purposely want to bump them."

Jones said he was trying to walk off the court and accidentally bumped Green and looked back to see who he had bumped. Nothing more.

Jones is a veteran from Duke who is no stranger to dirty plays. Remember what he did to Kobe Bryant two years ago? You think that was an accident? Yeah, we’re not buying his excuse. But it sure did lead to a great exchange, and a priceless look from Green:
