Draymond Green got away with a kick to the head of Tari Eason during a heated Game 4 of the Western Conference playoff series between the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors at Chase Center in San Francisco, Calif., on Monday night.
Green had the ball at the top of the three-point arc late in the second quarter and had it poked loose by Eason. The two players then scrambled for the loose ball. Green went over Eason’s body while stretching for the ball and rolled and kicked Eason in the head.
Draymond could body slam an official, drop kick the mascot and still not get that second tech.

Green already had been called for a technical foul earlier in the game, so had he been called for a second one, he would have been ejected. He was lucky the officials only gave him a flagrant foul rather than a second technical foul.
Green has a history of committing plays like that which sit right on the borderline between intentional and unintentional. He received the benefit of the doubt in this case, which helped the Warriors.
