Duke’s Cam Reddish declares for NBA Draft

Duke is losing another one of their star freshmen to the NBA, as expected.

Cam Reddish announced on his Instagram page Thursday that he is leaving college to go pro.

“This season was epic, and I am so thankful to have had Duke as a part of the foundation that prepared me to play at the next level. Never forget – I am a Blue Devil for life. Proud to announce that I will be entering the 2019 NBA Draft,” Reddish wrote in his caption.

Reddish is the second Duke player to declare for the draft this week, joining RJ Barrett. Next up is Zion Williamson, who still has not officially declared yet but said after the team lost in the NCAA Tournament that there was a “high chance” he would leave for the NBA.

Reddish averaged 13.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. His 35.6 field goal percentage left a lot to be desired and will probably be something to watch at the next level.
