Dwight Howard wants to break out the big guns for the NBA Slam Dunk Contest next month.
Howard said on Wednesday that he wants to get Kobe Bryant involved in his performance at the dunk contest. Dwight floated his desire publicly so that the fan support could help sway Kobe.
Dwight Howard said he wants to get Kobe to be part of his dunk contest performance. He hasn’t asked Kobe yet because he said he wants to get fans behind the idea first.

Howard participated in the contest in 2007-2009 and won it in 2008. Derrick Jones Jr. is also expected to participate in the competition.
Howard was highly entertaining when he participated in the competition. He wore a Superman cape the year Gerald Green blew out the candle on a cupcake, and fans loved it. We’re excited to see what he does this year … and whether he lands help from Kobe.
