Dwyane Wade, Pat Riley have reportedly done nothing to repair relationship
There have been rumblings about Dwyane Wade possibly returning to the Miami Heat now that he has reached an agreement on a buyout with the Chicago Bulls, but that seems unlikely given his relationship with his former boss.
Alex Kennedy of Hoops Hype reported on Sunday that Wade’s relationship with Heat president Pat Riley remains strained, and the two have not spoken directly with one another since Wade left.
Something worth noting: Dwyane Wade and Pat Riley haven't fully repaired fractured relationship. They still haven't directly communicated.

A previous report claimed that Wade had told some people close to him he is open to returning to Miami, but there will be a lot of competition for his services. Kennedy also reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers have assured Wade he will start if he signs with them, and we know how close he is with LeBron James. Carmelo Anthony, one of Wade’s other close friends, was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder over the weekend. The thought of joining Anthony, Russell Westbrook and Paul George may also be one that intrigues Wade.
For what it’s worth, Wade basically admitted that Riley was the reason he left the Heat to sign with the Bulls. Their strained relationship might be just a phone call or a dinner away from being repaired, but that remains to be seen.
