Enes Kanter says he got warning from former Thunder teammate about Cavs tweet
New York Knicks center Enes Kanter couldn’t resist taunting LeBron James after the Cleveland Cavaliers gave up 148 points to his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Kanter is known for his banter with James, and he kept it up after Cleveland’s loss Saturday, sending a tweet that was clearly directed at his rival.

On Sunday, Kanter admitted that he’d heard from one of his former Thunder teammates, who warned him that he was going to get lit up the next time the Knicks and the Cavs meet.
“One texted me just to say — I’m not going to say who — but he texted me ‘You’re about to get 50 dropped on you, boy.'” Kanter said Sunday, via Nick Friedell of ESPN. “I responded something back, but I’m not going to say what it is.”
This is far from the first time Kanter has taunted James. It surely won’t be the last.
