It has been well over a decade since Rasheed Wallace last played in an NBA game, but it does not sound like the four-time All-Star has lost his edge.
Though he is from Philadelphia, Wallace is an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He has supported the team for years and attended several big games, and he was spotted at another on Monday night. Wallace was apparently in no mood to interact with fans, however.
A Jaguars fan bumped into Wallace outside of EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla., on Monday night. The encounter appeared to take place after Trevor Lawrence scored one of the most unique game-winning touchdowns you will ever see in a 28-24 comeback win over Kansas City. The fan says he told Wallace he was a big fan of the former NBA champion, but Wallace did not appreciate the compliment.
The fan says Wallace responded with “get the f— out of my face.”

Wallace was probably in a bad mood after his team lost a tough game. Though, a reaction like that would be on brand for the 51-year-old no matter the context.
In addition to being an outstanding post player, Wallace was known for his temper during his playing days. He still holds the record for most technical fouls in a single season, which was 41 in 2000-21.
They say never to meet your heroes, but it sounds like the Jaguars fan got the most authentic Wallace experience he could have asked for.
