Watch: Fans chant for LiAngelo Ball before final pick of draft
If LiAngelo Ball is going to play in the NBA next season, it will have to be by way of signing a contract with a team as an undrafted free agent. Lonzo’s younger brother was not one of the 60 players selected in Thursday night’s NBA Draft, which was a major disappointment to some fans who attended the event.
With 59 picks in the book and just one to go, a small collection of fans in New York badly wanted the Philadelphia 76ers to draft LiAngelo. They were very vocal about it.

They didn’t get their wish, as Philly went with Dayton forward Kostas Antetokounmpo, who is the younger brother of Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Ball worked out for several NBA teams prior to the draft, so he must not have blown anyone away. Unless the Lakers have plans to sign him, LaVar Ball’s prediction about the coming years is in serious trouble.
