The No. 3 Duke Blue Devils had some special guests at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, N.C., on Monday, as they hosted the Syracuse Orange. Among those in attendance to watch the game were former Duke stars Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach.
The Dallas Mavericks rookie, of course, turned heads–partly because of the woman beside him during the game, whose identity left some fans wondering.
Who is next to Coop? https://t.co/AHJM8MiuRQ

But the internet was also quick to point out who she was.
Apparently, she is also well known at Duke, with many pointing out that she is Arianna Roberson, the sister of former Oklahoma City Thunder forward Andre Roberson and a freshman center for the Blue Devils women’s basketball team.
When Ron’s two worlds collide: Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg alongside presumably Arianna Roberson, a former Clark High School star I covered in San Antonio and now a Duke center. https://t.co/ttwxVVhfvg

She is one of the key performers in the 2025-26 season for the Blue Devils, as she’s averaging 9.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game, so far in the campaign.
Roberson and Flagg perhaps developed a friendship during his lone season with Duke in 2024-25, when she sat out the entire year due to an injury.
Flagg, meanwhile, certainly had a good time in his return to his old stomping grounds, as he got to see some old friends and see the Blue Devils easily dismantle the visiting Orange to the tune of a 101-64 score.
