Dwyane Wade returned from a hamstring injury on Sunday to lead the Miami Heat to a win over the New York Knicks with 27 points, five rebounds and five assists. He was probably a bit fatigued after playing 32 minutes for the first time in over two weeks, but fortunately Wade’s wife handled his postgame interview for him.
Gabrielle Union crashed Wade’s on-court interview with Fox Sports after the game. She literally spoke for Dwyane.
“It was OK,” she said. “I mean, a hamstring pull — wow, ah, yeah, wow. To come back with 27 points — we’re gonna talk about the free throws later.
“He did good for an old geezer.”
Wade hit just 5 of 9 free throws, which obviously did not sit well with his better half. If you remember, Gabby once said she puts Richard Sherman’s trash talk to shame and that she refers to Wade simply by his jersey number when he’s playing. It sounds like “3” is going to have to work on his free throws when he gets home.
