Heat fans taunt LeBron James as he’s rested against Miami (Video)
With the Cleveland Cavaliers facing a second consecutive road game immediately after a grueling overtime showdown Saturday night, the team elected to sit LeBron James and rest him in Miami against his former team, and the fans let James have it.
Early in the fourth quarter with the Cavs down 20, a loud chant of “LeBron is tired” began making its way through the arena. LeBron had the best possible response, however: remember these rings?
Former teammate Chris Bosh stuck up for LeBron after the game.
Bosh on 'Bron is tired' chant: "They were probably correct. You get tired when you play 2 games in 2 days, especially an overtime game."

Much as James would have liked to play against his old team, Cleveland knows he doesn’t need to play every regular season game. This is a team built for the playoffs, and that’s where they’ll really need the 31-year-old to be fresh.
LeBron brought two championships to South Beach, but fans didn’t seem to care when they did this to his mural and jerseys. We’re not surprised their feelings haven’t changed.
