The Los Angeles Lakers may have some issues to iron out as far as Isaiah Thomas’s role with the team, but it certainly sounds like he’s happy to be there.
According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, sources close to Lakers president Magic Johnson and GM Rob Pelinka say Thomas is “ecstatic” to join the organization he was a fan of as a kid.
Told by multiple sources that Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka have been in touch with IT and he's "ecstatic " about being a Laker. Unclear whether the issue of starting was discussed, however.

While it’s not all sunshine and roses, there’s at least something to build on here. Thomas will welcome the chance to get out of Cleveland and play a bigger, more central role on a different team. He has plenty of incentive to do well, too, as he’s in a contract year.
