Isaiah Thomas’ run in Phoenix will be a short one.
Thomas, who was signed to a four-year, $28 million contract over the offseason, has been traded by the Suns to the Boston Celtics, according to reports.
The Suns will get Marcus Thornton and a 2016 first-round pick from Boston in return. The 2016 pick is one acquired by the Celtics in a trade with the Cavaliers.

The Suns went from having an overflow of point guards between Thomas, Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic to now having Bledsoe and Brandon Knight after their series of deals.
