Washington Wizards fans brought every part of Ja Morant’s vocabulary out during Sunday’s game.
Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies faced off against the Wizards at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Wizards fans let Morant hear it all night, and the former NBA All-Star guard Morant certainly did not take too kindly to it.
A viral video shot from the stands showed Morant stepping to the free-throw line after being heckled. In the video, Morant could be seen saying of the Wizards fans, “They be on my d–k more than my b—h.”
You can see the video at the link here (but obviously watch out for the foul language).
Morant’s father Tee, who is a staple at Grizzlies games both at home and on the road, was also seen confronting one particular heckler in the Washington crowd. Take a look at that clip here.
The 26-year-old Morant finished with 21 points and seven assists on Sunday. But it was the Wizards who pulled out a surprise 116-112 win over the Grizzlies, marking just their seventh victory of the season.
With his unpredictable personality as well as his history of getting himself into trouble with the NBA, Morant is somewhat of an ideal target for hecklers. Morant is also pretty confrontational and even had multiple heated exchanges with opposing players while he was injured earlier this season.
