JaVale McGee gets multiple rat tails on back of head
You never know what you’re going to get from JaVale McGee, which is part of the JaVale McGee experience. On Monday, the veteran center showed off his bizarre hairstyle.
During the Warriors’ preseason game against the Raptors on Saturday, McGee was seen on the floor with something peculiar going on with back of his head. On Monday, he posted an up close photo to his Facebook page. And, here it is.

Yes, McGee has not one, not two, but three rat tails on the back of his head. Thankfully, he doesn’t have an actual rat shaved on there, like the one this Denver Broncos rookie did during training camp.
As you can probably expect, McGee has heard plenty of jokes. However, he’s only heard a few good ones.

McGee appeared in 34 games for the Mavericks last season, making two starts. He signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Warriors over the summer and, apparently, has a legitimate shot to be on the roster for opening night. Given the lack of rim protection Golden State has, McGee could fill a need for them with his athleticism. That means more of JaVale McGee in the NBA and that’s always a good thing.
