Rapper Jay Z took a jab at Phil Jackson while honoring SI Sportsperson of the Year, LeBron James.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star was honored on Monday night in Brooklyn, and the Nets minority owner showed with his speech that he follows current events.
While listing some of James’ accomplishments, Jay Z noted how James helped out his “posse.”

That’s a reference to Jackson’s comments about James’ business partners, something that was met with criticism from James’ crew as well as others around the league. Jackson eventually said he might end up regretting his comments.
