John Wall reportedly ‘cursed out’ Randy Wittman, Wizards
The Washington Wizards took a step back this year, missing the postseason after winning a playoff series in each of their past two seasons. From the sound of it, frustration recently boiled over for John Wall.
NBA analyst Peter Vecsey reports that Wall “cursed out” Wizards coach Randy Wittman and the team last week prior to Washington’s loss against the Detroit Pistons.
Prior 2 Wiz playoff elimination L v Pistons, injured John Wall cursed out Wittman & team. Randy promptly suspended…home practice, I'm told

Wall has not played since April 3 with a sore knee, but it’s unclear if disciplinary action had a role in his absence over the past three games since his supposed outburst. Wittman is likely on the hot seat heading into the offseason, but Vecsey notes that Wall’s lack of leadership has become a concern for the Wizards.
Clearly, Wittman and Ernie Grunfeld are in severe job jeopardy. Meanwhile, Wall's acute lack of leadership is a searing hot internal topic

Wall had high hopes heading into the season and even cut out a delicious snack from his diet to show his commitment. When you expect to improve upon a previous season that included sweeping an opponent in the playoffs, missing the postseason altogether must be incredibly frustrating.
