Former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin is one of a number of people who felt that LeBron James should have played through his severe cramps at the end of Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night. Martin, who should know a thing or two about having your toughness questioned, tweeted and deleted the following.
Ladies and gents, Jonathan Martin, who quit in 2013, on LeBron tonite: pic.twitter.com/vIUOLOoMVe

Here’s the tweet that preceded the one Martin deleted:
Lebron haters goin ham right now lol

And then a couple more than J-Mart sent praising LeBron, presumably after realizing he should not have told him to “get out there.”
My money's still on the Heat winning the series tho

And Lebron still gonna be finals MVP

We don’t condone any of the stuff that happened to Martin. No one deserves to be treated like that in their place of work, whether they’re a football player or a line cook at a restaurant. That said, Martin quit his team because he couldn’t take being bullied anymore. He should know better than to make snarky remarks about toughness.
As Isiah Thomas said after Game 1, no player could have played through the cramping LeBron experienced.
