Jontay Porter denies report that he signed with Blazers
Contrary to a report, Jontay Porter has not found a home in the NBA just yet.
Porter, the ex-Missouri star, took to Twitter on Friday to deny a report stating he had signed with the Portland Trail Blazers, saying that it was “not true.”
Not true sir. https://t.co/ftUHPZSRCz

The 19-year-old Porter went undrafted this year due to health concerns after he suffered his second right ACL tear in March. He first tore the ligament last October and missed Missouri’s entire 2018-19 campaign as a result.
Porter is the younger brother of Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr, who has also been plagued by injury issues and missed his whole rookie season with a back issue.
Jontay has enough medical red flags to scare off just about any NBA team, but hopefully he finds a landing spot somewhere soon. As for the Trail Blazers, they have been making some moves this summer after last season’s Western Conference Finals run, but it does not look like Porter is in their future plans.
