Josh Hart’s injury status revealed for Game 7
The New York Knicks lost Josh Hart to injury in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, and questions linger about his status for Game 7.
Hart is suffering from an abdominal strain that he suffered in Game 6, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The veteran wing is expected to try to play through the injury on Sunday, though there is not yet any guarantee that he will actually be able to go.

Hart may well be limited even if he does play Sunday. Even that would be a huge blow for the Knicks, who are already shorthanded due to numerous injuries. OG Anunoby has missed four consecutive games due to his hamstring strain, and he is also facing an uphill climb to play in Game 7.
Hart has become a core piece for the Knicks during their playoff run. He is averaging nearly 43 minutes per night for Tom Thibodeau’s team during the postseason, averaging 14.9 points and 11.8 rebounds per game.
