Kevin Durant on Hack-A strategy: ‘Work on your f—ing free throws’

Kevin Durant has a very simple solution for players who are victims of the hacking strategy: practice your free throws.

The strategy has been deployed on plenty of big men who can’t shoot free throws, with Hack-A-Shaq pioneering it and the likes of DeAndre Jordan and Andre Drummond being forced to deal with it today. Fans and pundits have considered ways to blunt the effectiveness of the strategy, but Durant has a much easier solution.

Kevin Durant didn't mince words about the Hack-a strategy: "If you don't want to get hacked then work on your f—ing free throws."

Durant is a fantastic free throw shooter, so this is pretty easy for him to say. Sometimes it’s as much of a mental issue as it is a physical one. Nobody wants to see a game where big men are being fouled sixty feet from the basket, though.
