Kevin Durant staying with Thunder?
There has been a growing belief among the NBA community that the 2015-2016 season will be Kevin Durant’s last with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The reigning NBA MVP is here to tell everyone that drawing that conclusion is a bit premature.
After the Thunder won their seventh game in a row on Tuesday night, Durant had an interesting exchange with one of his Twitter followers.

Last week, an excellent profile by GQ hinted that Durant will not be loyal to the Thunder when signing his next contract. That could mean he won’t be agreeing to a team-friendly deal with no opt-out clauses like he did in 2010, or it could mean he is planning to play elsewhere.
Ever since LeBron James returned home to Cleveland, there has been speculation that Durant could do the same by joining the Washington Wizards. Remember, Durant was one of the people who supported LeBron’s decision to go back to the Cavs.
The reality is Durant probably doesn’t even know what he will do after next season. He knows he will have plenty of options, and a lot will depend on the state of the Thunder at the time. The 26-year-old is still searching for his first championship ring, so he will likely sign with the team he feels gives him the best chance at capturing it.
