Knicks contemplating moving up in NBA Draft?
The New York Knicks’ actions leading up to the NBA Draft seem to be hinting that they’re at least considering the possibility of trading up.
According to Ian Begley of ESPN, the Knicks took an in-person meeting with Texas center Mo Bamba on Wednesday. The trick here is that Bamba is quickly rising on draft boards and could be considered a top-five selection, while the Knicks currently hold the ninth overall pick.
Members of the Knicks organization met in-person with Texas’ Mohamed Bamba in New York today, team sources told ESPN. The meeting is an indication that the Knicks are considering trading up from the No. 9 pick. Bamba is projected as the fifth pick in ESPN's latest mock draft.

Bamba does not want to go No. 4, according to various reports. There are indications that the Bulls, picking at No. 7, are also interested in Bamba. The Knicks may be doing their due diligence here, but there may be some reason to believe that they’re looking to get into the top six.
