Kobe Bryant freely admits on Twitter he stole from MJ
Michael Jordan said in an interview that made headlines Tuesday that he would beat LeBron James 1-on-1, but he’s not sure how he would do against Kobe Bryant because the Lakers legend stole all his moves. MJ probably takes it as a compliment that Kobe copies him, otherwise he wouldn’t mention it.
You figure that the prideful Kobe might want to deny that he bit everything off MJ, but he doesn’t. In fact, he freely admitted on Twitter that he stole Jordan’s moves, saying it’s part of the cycle of the game:
Domino effect. I stole some of his..this generation stole some of mine #thecycle

Kobe’s probably right about the cycle and evolution of the game. Great players take ideas and moves from players they grew up watching, and then they improve on them. But how many try to talk, walk, play and act like their idol? Not many, but that’s what Scottie Pippen said Kobe did with Jordan. He’s right about it. And it looks like Kobe’s going to finish his career one ring short of Jordan.
