The Los Angeles Lakers have interest in adding Carmelo Anthony after the trade deadline passes, according to numerous reports.
The Lakers traded Ivica Zubac and Michael Beasley to the Los Angeles Clippers for Mike Muscala on Thursday. They have an open roster spot, and Anthony is believed to be a consideration for the spot.

LeBron James’ side has long pushed for the Lakers to add Anthony, but LA has resisted. Now that they have an open spot — not to mention plenty of disheartened players — they may consider him.
