The Los Angeles Lakers are hiring former All-Star Antawn Jamison for a scouting position.
The Vertical’s Shams Charania reports the news about the Lakers and Jamison, saying the former forward will work in the team’s scouting department.
Jamison, 41, played 16 seasons in the NBA and was a two-time All-Star. Though he spent most of his career with the Warriors and Wizards, Jamison closed his career playing for the Lakers and then Clippers. He’s been a TV analyst for Lakers games since his career ended in 2014.
The Lakers are undergoing changes under their new management of Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka, and this is one of the moves.
