Lamar Odom has once again gotten himself in trouble with the law.
The retired former NBA champion Odom was arrested and booked for driving under the influence early on Saturday morning, TMZ Sports reported. The arrest took place in Las Vegas, Nev.
Odom was also hit with two traffic violations in addition to the DUI charge — driving more than 41+ miles per hour over the speed limit as well as improper lane change/failure to maintain lane. He was said to still be in police custody as of the time of writing.

Now 46 years old, Odom played in the NBA from 1999-2013, appearing for the LA Clippers, the Miami Heat, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Dallas Mavericks. His most successful run came on the Lakers, with whom he won back-to-back NBA titles in 2009 and 2010 as well as the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2011.
But Odom also has a very long and well-documented history of alcohol and drug problems. He had a previous arrest for DUI back in 2013 and then proceeded to have a near-death experience in 2015 after overdosing on drugs while at a Nevada brothel. Odom was most recently in the news last summer after getting evicted from a Los Angeles mansion over an alleged failure to pay rent.
