Lance Stephenson had to cover huge dinner tab for Clippers
The Los Angeles Clippers are in Indiana this week to take on the Pacers, and this particular road trip seems to already be costing Lance Stephenson a pretty penny.
On Monday night, Stephenson shared some videos on Snapchat that were spliced together by The Big Lead. It’s unclear if the Clippers played credit card roulette or forced Stephenson to cover their dinner bill for some other reason, but he clearly wasn’t happy.
Be warned that the video contains NSFW language:
You could hear one teammate saying in the video that Stephenson played in Indiana, so it’s possible that’s why he had to pay. Stephenson also said the bill came to “like 10 racks,” and a rack is usually a slang for $1,000. However, there has been some skepticism that the dinner cost that much.
Jeff Ayres was there, said it wasn’t nearly that much."If it was 10 grand he would’ve ran out of the building so fast https://t.co/M8YUqVUy8n

Even if it was $10,000, Stephenson should be able to afford it. He has a salary of $9 million this season, which is a lot higher than some dinner tabs we have seen other players get stuck with. Hopefully that means Lance is covered for at least a few more road trips.
