LeBron, Cavs, Going Too Hollywood?
Now I’m not saying you can’t have other interests outside of basketball or that athletes can’t act in movies and still have good careers (Ray Allen, Michael Jordan, Shaq come to mind), but I’m saying that we know how he’s spending a lot of his time and it’s not necessarily on basketball. Of course this could be a good thing because it can help prevent burn out, but there’s no doubt LeBron has had more than his share of distractions this offseason. Combine this with Shaq’s TV show on ABC and there’s no doubt the Cavs are going to have to do a lot of work to get focused for the upcoming training camp. Last time I checked I hadn’t heard about any movies Garnett or Pierce are promoting, not to mention the fact that the Magic are the defending champs. This is not a good way to head into the season, that’s all I’m saying.
