LeBron James on Sunday once again addressed speculation that this could be his final NBA season.
James held a press conference prior to Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game and was asked the inevitable question about his playing future. The Los Angeles Lakers star kept things simple by essentially saying he would figure it out later.
“I want to live. When I know, you guys will know,” James told reporters.

James has consistently refused to offer any clues as to whether this could be his final NBA season. More recent claims have suggested that next year could function as a retirement tour for him, albeit with a different organization.
James continues to play at a reasonably high level, so if he calls it quits, it is unlikely to be for performance-related reasons. The 41-year-old is averaging 22 points, 7.1 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game so far this season. He became the oldest player in NBA history to notch a triple-double on Thursday night.
