LeBron James prepares harder than anyone in the NBA, which is one of the reasons he has managed to get better with age. A lot of his success stems from his insane attention to detail, and he put that on display on Sunday.
After the Cavaliers were blown out by the Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, LeBron was asked to explain what happened when Boston kept control of the game to start the fourth quarter. Cleveland had cut the lead to 14 at that point, but the Celtics responded with a big stretch that basically sealed the win.
How did LeBron answer the question? By literally recapping every single thing that happened in the first few possessions of the fourth.

Boston played tremendous defense, which was the main reason LeBron had one of the worst playoff games of his career. It won’t be that easy for Brad Stevens’ team going forward, but the Cavs have a lot of work to do. Hopefully LeBron’s teammates have memories as good as his.
