LeBron James: I would quit basketball if I played for Northern Iowa
If LeBron James was ever part of a meltdown like the one Northern Iowa had against Texas A&M last Friday, he would no longer be playing the sport that he has dominated for the better part of his life.
That’s what the Cleveland Cavaliers star told reporters on Wednesday, at least.
LeBron on the A&M comeback over UNI: "I would quit basketball. If I was on Northern Iowa, I would quit."

As you have likely heard, Northern Iowa had a 12-point lead over the Aggies with 44 seconds — that’s right, 44 — remaining in regulation. Texas A&M somehow came back and forced overtime, eventually winning in double-OT.
How improbable was Texas A&M’s comeback? The embarrassing tweets Skip Bayless sent at the end of the game should give you some perspective.
Northern Iowa players were already embarrassed. LeBron apparently feels they need some salt in those wounds.
