LeBron James was a bit critical of Matthew Dellavedova for not passing to him in the dying seconds of Cleveland’s loss against the Chicago Bulls.
James was the hot hand on Saturday night, shooting 13 of 17, but Dellavedova took the last shot, an open three that didn’t fall with the Cavaliers down two. James wanted the ball.
LeBron James said with way he was shooting, would have liked Matthew Dellavedova to make one more pass to him for potential game-winning 3.

It needs to be said that Dellavedova was wide open, and he’s a 42 percent shooter from deep. On the night, though, he was just one of five from three point range, while James was 4 of 5.
James is always going to want the last shot. It’s just a fact of life, even when a teammate who’s a good shooter has a wide open look. Still, something doesn’t feel right with the Cavs, even at this late stage. Maybe it’s because LeBron has been reacting like this for a while. He may be the star, but saying that a 42 percent shooter should have passed on a wide open shot to accommodate him doesn’t look great.
