Luka Doncic drops F-bomb in postgame interview on ESPN
Luka Doncic’s game may not be rusty to start the season, but his interviewing skills are.
Doncic was interviewed by ESPN’s Cassidy Hubbarth after leading his Dallas Mavericks to a 126-119 win at the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night. Doncic had 33 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in the win. Instead of being asked about himself, Doncic was asked about the play of teammate Dereck Lively II.
Lively, who was drafted No. 12 overall by Dallas, had 16 points and 10 rebounds in his NBA debut.
“He played amazing for the first game. … I remember my first game, I was nervous. He didn’t seem nervous. He played f—ing amazing,” Doncic said.
Doncic caught himself right after uttering the profanity and apologized.

Dallas is now off to a 1-0 start as they attempt to make up for last season’s disappointing 38-44 finish. Lively might be a big part of their potential improvement this season.
