Luke Walton upset with Lakers after Celtics showboat in blowout
Los Angeles Lakers coach Luke Walton is not pleased after the Boston Celtics did a bit of showboating in their blowout win Friday night.
The Celtics blew out the Lakers 115-95 at Staples Center, and with the game already a blowout in the third quarter, the Celtics started reeling off plays like this.

That did not sit well with Walton, though he made clear that he was more angry with his own team than he was with Boston.

Walton has not been afraid to publicly call out his young team before, though he’s probably had to do it far too often for his liking. The 19-43 Lakers are a long way away from being a factor in the Western Conference again, but Walton knows the first step towards changing that is at least minimizing the lack of effort in bad losses like this one.
