Is college basketball sensation Ben Simmons the next LeBron James? Magic Johnson thinks so.
The former Lakers legend sent a few tweets on Tuesday lauding the LSU forward.

Johnson is known for his hyperbole, but this still carries some weight.
Simmons is coming off a 36-point, 14-rebound game on Saturday at Vanderbilt. He’s up to 20.5 points, 13.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game in his freshman campaign.
With stats like that, he is approaching LeBron James-status.
