Marcus Smart ejected, goes after DeAndre’ Bembry
Marcus Smart got heated with DeAndre’ Bembry during the Boston Celtics’ 113-105 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night.
Smart was called for a technical foul in the third quarter of the game. About a minute later, Smart and Bembry got into it before a jumpball. They were called for double-technicals, meaning Smart had been ejected for receiving a second tech.
Things got really wild when Smart tried to go after Bembry and had to be restrained:

Smart had four points and four assists in 17 minutes. He’s now up to six techs on the season. It’s probably no surprise that Celtics coach Brad Stevens has said in the past Smart is almost too intense for scrimmages.
